Jean-François Longtin

An accomplished litigator, Jean-François Longtin acts as senior partner in complex multidisciplinary matters involving various ministries, public organizations, school commissions and private companies.

In this context, he has acted before numerous quasi-judicial authorities (Public Enquiry Commission, Police Commission, Coroner’s Public Enquiry, Social Affairs Commission, Court of Quebec – Expropriation Division, Régie des marchés agricoles et alimentaires, Commission d’accès à l’information, Tribunal administratif du Québec, etc.), as well as before all judicial courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada.

He joined Pierre Bélanger’s litigation boutique in 2001 to form Bélanger Longtin.

With a background including conflict prevention and resolution, crisis management and judicial litigation, his widespread expertise can be qualified as very versatile.
