Benjamin Lajoie practices primarily in civil and commercial litigation. He joined the firm in April 2024, initially as an articling student, before continuing his practice as a lawyer and member of the Québec Bar.
During his studies at the Université de Sherbrooke, Benjamin represented his faculty at the Pierre-Basile-Mignault moot court competition, where he pleaded a case before a panel composed of judges from the Court of Appeal and the Superior Court. This experience helped develop his advocacy skills and sharpened the clarity and structure of his legal writing.
Professionally, he has worked on mandates involving psychological harassment and labour relations for school organizations, which allowed him to strengthen his conflict resolution skills and deepen his understanding of labour law.
A former high-level athlete, Benjamin was a finalist for the team sport Athlete of the Year award in the Mauricie region and has given conferences in elementary and high schools about his journey as a student-athlete.
