Catherine Cloutier was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020 and to the Quebec Bar in 2021. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nutrition, a bachelor’s degree in law and a Juris Doctor in common law from the Université de Montréal. During her law studies, she was a member of the Health Law Committee.
Prior to joining the Bélanger Longtin team, she acquired diversified legal experience, having worked as a student in Legal Affairs at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, at CDPQ Infra – Projet Réseau Express Métropolitain, in commercial property in England, and as a court clerk in commercial arbitration. She also previously practiced as an insurance litigator with national firms.
Her experience extends beyond the law: she remains a member of the Ordre des Diététistes- Nutritionnistes du Québec, and is currently serving her second term on the Board of Directors of her Order, in addition to sitting on the Governance and Ethics Committee – HR.
She also sits on the Board of Directors of the OLO Foundation, whose mission is to give families an equal opportunity to give birth to healthy babies and develop healthy eating habits early in life.
